Oath

Well, it is official.  English singer Cher Lloyd married longtime beau Craig Monk on the 18th.

You all know I am a huge fan of the pop star so I am so happy for her and her new husband.  She may only be 20-years-old, but he star has already accomplished so much with her career with number-one singles, top twenty album in five countries, and a sophomore album on the way, Cher has done more than the average 20-something.

Chapel of Love

A quick congratulations to One Direction's Zayn Malik and Little Mix's Perrie Edwards on their engagement!  I just found out this morning and am very, very happy for them!!

Edwards was seen wearing the ring yesterday at the premiere of 1D's new movie This Is Us.  Perrie's mother, Debbie Duffy, confirmed the news and said she is "over the moon."  While we see most people are happy about the exciting news, I bet some 1D fans are quite jealous.  Don't listen to them, Perrie and Zayn.  The two of you deserve the very best!!

True Love Ways

I'm young, but that hasn't stopped me from thinking about my wedding. A lot of girls dream about their gorgeous dress, creamy cake, and of course their devastatingly handsome husband. I dreamed of all of that - and also my wedding song. My parents' wedding song is "Valentine" by Nils Lofgren. They not only chose it because it showed their love, but because no one else has that as their wedding song. My dream wedding song is "True Love Ways" by Buddy Holly. My appreciation for Buddy Holly has grown so much over the years and being the huge music lover that I am, I think that song really defines who I am. Now all I have to do is marry a man who has the same appreciation for music as I do.
