I was listening to Pandora and the song "What I Know" by the band Parachute came on. It's such a good song and they're such a good band!
Parachute is a pop band from Charlottesville, VA that has released three albums and four EPs, all of which are amazing. Their latest album, which was released August 13th, peaked on the US charts at 15.
"What I Know" was the fourth single off their sophomore album The Way It Was. I honestly don't know what I love so much about this song. The backing vocals? The percussion? The lyrics? I really love every aspect of this song. About three minutes into the song is definitely my favorite part. His range gets louder and ooooh! It gives me goosebumps.
But that's not the only song of theirs that is really good. I just listened to "Kiss Me Slowly" and that song is great, as well. And don't tell anybody, but I have a little teenage crush on the drummer Johnny. Shhhh.
All three of their albums are available on iTunes, but since I prefer owning a physical CD I will be purchasing mine online.
I don't know about you, but there's something I love so much about a band where they all play an instrument and I know I have definitely said that a million times. I feel like they are really legit...like the Beatles or...the Eagles. Like Lawson and Streetfight Silence, I am very impressed with this band's musical talent and abilities. Very impressive, boys. Please keep up the good work.
